Nothing like I imagined

Black jeans NYDJ - Burgundy printed blouse Regatta - Black heels Christian Siriano for Payless -
Black quilted bucket bag Moschino

I thought this outfit looked so sharp in the mirror and I actually felt good in it. Then, reality hit when I downloaded the pictures, it was nothing like I imagined. Then again, it was Friday afternoon and I was as beat as could be... sometimes you have to give yourself a break.

Is it the pattern that threw you off with the pictures? I find that small patterns like that don't photograph well - they look blurry, and the colour of the item changes (this looks like a pinky-red tone to me). I have passed along items from my closet that I love when they're on, but they just look horrible in photos.

The overall style of the outfit is excellent - you look chic and stylish, Lorena! Don't beat yourself up; just move onto the next awesome outfit!

I don't see anything wrong with your outfit! But sometimes I have the reality check that you described. It drives me crazy. The favorite dress, jeans or top that I wear over and over and over again -- sometimes one day I realize it really isn't all that flattering. :[

And your fishing story?! YIKES!!! Maybe I don't want to go fishing after all!

I love the skinny scarf! :)

And I've had those moments plenty of times. I loved today's outfit, so so much. Then I look at the photos and think it's not as great as I think it looks - but how you feel in something is more important than how it looks in the end! :)

Hope you are having a good week :)

This black tie is the icing on the cake. The blouse is fine, but this tie cause the entire look is more nonchalant and looks great.
